just put the XP cd in the cdrom, reboot, just do like you are going to reinstall, you will see where it says "checking for previous windows versions", then it will ask if you want to repair it. you cant miss it. it will say stuff like "it is not recommended to install windows over another operating system, bla bla".....well, not the bla bla part :P
Correct. Or it'll say upgrade. But again ime this is NOT possible if you SP2 installed & NOT slipsteamed or included on your XP install disk.
FFS how many times do people have to give repair install instructions on this board?
1. Boot from the XP CD
2. Hit Enter at the first prompt
3. Hit F8 at the next
4. Hit R at the next prompt.
You are now performing a Repair Install
