It takes at least 8 weeks before you are considered for an invite at FTN, so I think at least using that as a benchmark in this case, and I stress in this case, is/was a wise thing to do.

Oh really?? I have seen members who joined just about the same time as I did n they got invited. Maybe luck I guess....but Sorry I didn't know u had to be a member for 8 weeks before you r even considered. If u had stated that in the OP, I wouldn't have even applied. Anyways.......good luck to all
