K-Lite v2.6

I got K-lite 2.6RC10b but as soon as I launch any of the tools (e.g. accelerator) it crashes and then accelerator gives me the "do you want to quit" message and after I click No it restarts k-lite but it wont connect after that :(
(winXP SP1)

try just loading klr.exe instead of khancer.exe, you wont have a toolbar though, you'll have to open the tools manually or create shortcuts

I just found this program called Mediapeek. Will this Work with the new versions? I Put up a post here asking if anyone has tried it and has any opinions about.

Of course it is not bad thing: It is a good thing&#33; This is why I give my positive vote the KL 2.6&#33; B)

BTW, I have done an extensive use of KL 2.6, and things continue to go very well... I am very happy&#33; :) Waiting eagerly for the next release guys&#33; :01:

I have 2.4.3...
Other than uninstaling 2.4.3 is there anything lese I need to do to make sure 2.7 is installed properly?
will it continue my dowloads aswell?

yes, just uninstall it, keep a back up of my shared folder (just incase), Download the file as stated in the notes, tick the "clean install KMD" option and then i will work :)

Suggestion: how about putting a help file in with the installation package that gives all (or as many as possible) error problems that have occured so far on past PCs, and the way to remedy them? You could glean off all the problems posted here, answer them, and every time a new build is issued, update the help file with new problems and solutions.

Major kudos to all involved in this...Lite, FTFakes, you guys are doing a great job.

there is a basic FAQ that i made, it can be accessed from the start menu ;)

Could somebody explain the difference between 2.6 b10 & 2.6 b10 full ?
