Once or twice a week. Everything runs well so I suppose that accounts for it.

Ya the new Diskeeper 11.0.686.0 now does it automatically I don't even think about anymore . :)
Yeah Diskeeper is what I use as well, set and forget, that way your hard drive is always neat and tidy.

Same here :D
Re: How often u guys defrag ur HD with using BT as daily?
ive only got 2 80gb partitions for operating system files and they get defragged every month, stuff from bittorrent goes on the media partitions so theres no need to defrag them ever since even having them heavily fragmented wouldnt affect the os performance
Re: How often u guys defrag ur HD with using BT as daily?
I think the best set up is to download to a designated hd
and keep libraries in another
then once a month defrag is cool
Re: How often u guys defrag ur HD with using BT as daily?
I haven't defragged my windows partition since i resized it about 9 months ago. My linux partition hasnt been defragged ever since it doesnt need to be.
I have never noticed a difference between a heavily fragmented drive and a unfragmented drive so why bother with it.
