Someone needs to get a decent US black metal festival together with acutal big names, going overseas this year for a decent show is going to kill my college fund

musically it can be pretty f-in awesome. it's the lyrics and attitude that make it ridiculous.

I also thought that there's not any quality in black metal and extreme metal generally, until I listened to some bands a bit more and got used to this sound. Now it's one of my favorite music genres.
