No, I collected my jokes from various places and some remembered myself and that took a while plus putting them all together and anyone could now just copy my page layout add it to theirs easily.

By saying "it ain't mine", I mean I wasn't the person who invented those jokes so if they we're copied it wouldn't effect me but I just wouldn't want people just to copy my whole page and use it on theirs.

since every webpage i visit is stored on machine as a temporary internet file...
i can view source code and/or use dreamweaver or front page to edit its content...
there is no secure way to keep ppl from stealing content from your entire webshell directory...
your entire site can be downloaded with one click with certain software including all of your links and graphics...
sorry.. all you can do is make it more difficult for ppl to get what they want..

yes, thats it. Thats what I was trying to say and what I want to do.

Just disabling the right-click is not enough to prevent poeple from copying the content of ur pages.
I'm also one of the poeple how copies scripts from other poeples pages :P . Al I have to do is choose view at explorer menu> source and voilá :blink: .

there are also some programs that can decrypt( copy,rip,download,steal..... whatever you call it) the whole page and all the files stored on the server that hosts that page.

So it is not really easy to protect your page from some smart pc-nurd, but I guess that disabling right-click is more than enought to stop normal ppl from stealing your pages. :lol: :lol:

(not many HTML pages are bigger than this) This speeds things up some, and keeps you from getting a lot of files and images you don't care about. This can take a long time, so consider running it right before bed time. Once you have an image of the entire server, you look through the directories listed, and find  /target.  When we open that directory, we find its contents, and all of its sub-directories listed. Let's say we find    /target/games/zip/zipindex.html .  This would be the index page that would be displayed had you gone through the password procedure, and allowed it to redirect you here.By simply typing in the url    www.target.com/games/zip/zipindex.html  you will be onthe index page and ready to follow the links for downloading.

Instead of getting paranoid about people copying your content, you should authorize the use of it and make a name for yourself in the process. Check out Creative Commons for how to do this.
