Neither do the Chinese in fact it's a well know fact why they use sticks. This is because of the lower carbon footprint that sticks leave ..compared to say stainless steel cutlery! Now if all the billion Chinese decided over-night to use steel to eat their meals with..then the world would be over before 21-12-2012 ..So basically that makes them champions of our environment :)

Guess indians are Matriarchs of the environment ..
we use only our hand and food is served on disposable leaves(in south India) ..
Now imagine how many resources wud go waste if Indians started using sticks .

it is not hard at all to wash hands with soap.
I always use hands when I eat KFC..it would be too hard if i use sticks
