which is the best torrent downloader

I use utorrent since a few years. Never had any Probs with utorrent.

Started with bitcomet but now happy with utorrent

uTorrent. Small and simple to optimise.

I think if the torrent downloader is light on ram, and doesn't have holes where viruses can come in, it is good

I like uTorrent because it doesn't use much RAM Memory and the speeds reach maximum.

rtorrent is the best, i use it as my seedbox client, quite better then utorrent

I use utorrent, it seems the best out of the ones I've used.

I stick with utorrent 1.8.5 for long period..

utorrent and torrentflux-b4rt in seedbox...

uTorrent is the only client that is not banned from several trackers..............................like Azureus, BitLord etc.

use deluse in windows and rtorrent in linux.

utorrent, however it is changing the way it appears and also the functions are increasing.

I'm using uTorrent for a long time , sure i tried several clients and some of them aren't put in the first post but uTorrent is the best

is it really necessary to filter ips??

It's very recommended on countries where they do care. Plus regardless of where you live, if certain IP ranges are known to spread fakes or harvest addresses, then what's the point of connecting to them? That's why I use uIpFilterX. It's updated regularly and doesn't have loads and loads of ranges, only the most important ones.

How about complaints against utorrent:

* Can cause eye strain when using multiple trackers.

* Can't kick/ban "leeches" (traditional P2P definition)

* not totally portable (reads/writes config info in /documents and settings/)
