I wanna buy anti-virus - which is best?

i use Kaspersky 2010 and its great

nod32 is the best

FFS, Avira is a perfectly fine program and it's free, as far as false positives being a major problem - rarely.

Norton makes a very good product. Its memory leakage problem is a thing of the past, and has been for a bit.

NOD32 is a decent AV, also.

Safe computing habits are essential to your computer's security. Update Windows and its software, use an alternative browser, be careful when surfing the interweb (you take your chances when you google for keygens and serial numbers, duh.) Run high risk programs with policy restrictions or in a sandbox.

A decent AV, along with an inbound firewall is the only active software one needs to be fairly secure. Use on-demand scanners regularly for spyware and such.

Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 its so good withe me :)

NorTon AV is at its best these days,try it out and u will know.though Kaspersky and Eset are equally good :)

Norton IS 2010 is the best of all

I have always liked NOD32 2.7 because of its speed and not having to look for keys.

Id go for Nod32

At least did you guy's tested any other anti-viruses beside NOD32 ?

I have also tried Norton Internet Security (extremely bloated), Avira (don't remember what made me stop using it...), Avast! (didn't like having to disable the P2P Shield when running uTorrent), AVG (too slow), BitDefender (the same) and Kaspersky (too much trouble with keys and a trial resetter wouldn't work). :)

AVG n NORTON360 both are superb AVG uses less resources where as Norton uses more resources.choice is urs.

been using AVG free for years never had any problems

yes, kaspersky is really good indeed but I prefer NOD... more intuitive and easy to use.

don't like avg, McAfee or Norton... Norton is a bulky antivirus in my opinion... didn't checked the latest version though.

yeh i quit using Norton too..and moved to kaspersky than NOD32,but when i tried this Norton2010 i was leasently surprised :)

i use AVG,
it doesn't annoy user.
install it and forget, that's okay for me.

I have tested Dr.web and PC Tools AntiVirus and I had problems with them. I am using Nod32 3.0.695 for now.It seems to be not bad.

I have been using avira anti-virus for years. It's absolutely the best one!

I'm using AVG , never had any problems with it , also Bitdefender is great

im currently using kaspersky av.i tried norton but it deleted some of the non virus files som im ok with kaspersky.

Nobody's using avast! anti-virus?

I use AVG antivirus and it is really a good antivirus...because of this my Pc is not infected by anyvirus...and it is not heavy to processed by the system.

Avira professional is the best and comodo for firewall.
