but i use 98 se and my settings are in binary. this is what they were originally
"LocalPriority"=f3,01,00,00
"HostsPriority"=f4,01,00,00
"DnsPriority"=d0,07,00,00
"NetbtPriority"=d1,07,00,00
"Class"=08,00,00,00
this is what they look like after modification
Class = 01
DnsPriority = 01
HostsPriority = 01
LocalPriority = 01
NetbtPriority = 01
is that ok
or should it look like this?
Class = 10
DnsPriority = 10
HostsPriority = 10
LocalPriority = 10
NetbtPriority = 10

Hey! Things work a little better, I'm running ADSL so uuhh I don't see "too" much of a change, but other than that it's better than it was before :rolleyes: .

Fantastic.
I'm on 56K and even though this tip doesn't increase connection speed, pages display significantly faster than before tweakage.

Holy $#!@, it really does work! Why were those values set to such odd numbers when 1 is so much better? Has anyone discovered any negative side effects yet? Everything seems fine to me so far. :)
