I think you've stumbled upon something awesome here. If poets had realised that poems sound a lot better if you use one word repeatedly to rhyme the whole way thro', it would have saved much boredom.

I'm not even making reference to poems that don't rhyme 'cos they're uber dull.

Techinically the poem is a mixture of anaphora and repetition, most poets don't consider rhyming a word with itself rhyming. Though John Lennard calls it autorhyming, I haven't seen any other words for this type of self-rhyming. :ermm:

All of the words in poems that don't rhyme properly can be replaced with a single repeated word. Doesn't matter what word is, it doesn't even have to be a word - provided it's repeated all the way through every line of every verse.

And they can be shortened, somewhat.
