any reason as to why it has to be static? And what happens if someone moves and has to change their isp?

I've a static IP the problem is that it change from time to time (when i renew the contract: every 3 - 6 month generally) but till today i was able to get it in the same x.x.x.0-x.x.x.255 net

if at least a certain net would be allowed I would try to take part, otherwise I think it's better to give to other some possibilities, as the risk of changing the ip with the next contract renew is high :(

Im quite sure what static means and im also quite sure that im static, but just need some clarification from Brandon

I do have a static IP, and definatley could help out FTN by uploaded not 0day scene releases, but music and vinyl rips :D. Though I probably wont get selected, if i do, i dont even know what I'd break in excitement lol ;)!

The service I recieve from ISP only allows one IP. It's a 1 Dynamic IP, would this fall in your qualifications?

It's dynamic but I have only 1 IP allocation. Whenever the modem is restarted, etc, the IP stays the same. It all depends on the allocation of IP's provided by ISP.
