It's at the end of the book when the hobbits return home to the shire to find Sauromon in charge.Quote:

I'm gonna see the movie in the theatre as soon as it's out, but in my country some movies are late, so I guess I'll have to wait a month or so for ROTK to come here. So I'm gonna DL it first like I did with TTT.
 i still dunt get the ending??? so why did the elves, frodo, bilbo and gandalf had to leave???
They had to leave because their time has come to an end ( elves, wizards, etc.) The elves and wizards keeped everything in check. It was time for them to leave the world to humans. They didn't have to go, but they were immortal. Tolkien had to get rid of them somehow to tie the History of middle-earth to the History of Earth as we are today, together. Frodo and Bilbo left because they were invited to go. They were the ringbearers of the One Ring. While Sam bore the ring too, it was not long enough to do the damage that Frodo and Bilbo endured.
fking pure CLASS film!!!! i still watch em!!! lol, if u hav'nt seen it, go watch it! (at the cinema, not a dvdrip download, ruins your 'experience'!)
The ending in rotk is excellent i thought. But i get the feeling the story will continue with sam maybe! Hopefully it does, shame to see it end really. :sad1:
They should make a TV series from it! :)
ooh please no!!Quote:

the trilogy is perfect this way. Just keep it that way, right?
Even making a prequel (The Hobbit) would go to far, i guess.
lets keep this thing not too commercial.
I can't help but agree.Quote:
