:D Beastie Boys in '95 at the Omni in Atl, GA. I was 14 and I'll never forget it. We had 4th row seats, but as soon as Beastie Boys took the stage the entire lower level rushed onto the floor, security guards couldn't do anything but move out of the way. So I was able to enjoy my first concert gettin' crazy with everyone else on the floor at the Omni :D
1981 with a very young looking The Cure as one of the bands in a park for a free concert in Groningen.
My first to go to buying a ticket was in 1984 Big Country. Great concert, their guitar-sound was on stage even better than on record.

kittie and mudvayne. kittie was good but i'm not really into mudvayne. my favorite though was the last i went to which was a glassjaw concert. :ph34r:

The Wonderstuff in 91ish. They were pretty good. James were better a few months later. Any children of the 90's out there?
Well there's some pretty embarassing stuff on here but I can top it all. My first concert was Meatloaf in 95. What I remember besides the amount of swearing he did was how much the opener Cheap Trick blew him away.

Kicked severe ass.
Openers were the Dum Dums (great) and Toploader (bunch of tossers).
my first few dont count as i was about 15 in the pub/clubs, listening to the local talent. my first real one was "van morrison", then "wonderstuff" with "gigalo aunts". cant remember what came next as ive been to so many concerts and gigs, they mingle into each other. last few were, "evan dando", "mustard plug", "flogging molly", "lagwagon" and "greenday"......again. seen a hell of a lot of bands. :blink:

the wildhearts and love/hate, i was only 16 at the time and it was great the bass player from love/hate broke hes arm by stage diving!!!
The Wildhearts was your first gig? You lucky chap! The downside is of course that you will never see a better concert. They're back though!
BTW mine was Killing Joke in Reading UK in 85. First and maybe best, though I did get to see Stevie Ray Vaughan.
It was KISS about 25 years ago, can't even remembered who opened up for them. Was pretty blasted then, can hardly remember the concert.
i dont really have the chance to go to too many concerts. the closest place is Philly/Camden (whichever you want to call it). my first was Ozzfest 2001, AWESOME concert. Black Sabbath kicked some major ass, greatest ("old") band ever, in my opinion

omg i forgot i saw creed also back in 2002, my sister had some tickets she got from her work.. creed was cool. The guitar player rocks big time, that dude can play. the main singer is amazing.you think with all that studio magic, they makes singers voices better. damn that guy can sing. i think Creed is a cool band, it made up for that peter paul and mary concert i went with my mom. Bleh!!

F**k I forgot, I think it was Metallica with Armored Saint opening, I worked for a ticket agency for years and saw just about eveyone I wanted to, though I never got to see one of my all time favorites, Rush.

ozzfest 1999 at lakewood ampitheater in atlanta, ga. fear factory headlining the second stage......what more can you say about that. :D

I went to see 5ive in concert a few years ago (pal's mum bought me tickets for my birfday.....)
The bestest concert tho was Bon Jovi's one Wild Night Tour in Glasgow....Hamdem Stadium 2001, i think....great show!

i went to a few Radio 1 Roadshow's when i was about 10 or 12. Then my first concert was when my older cousin dragged me to see Space when i was about 14, i wasn't all that impressed. I like really intimate gigs with only a few hundred people, but that said, i also love going to the festivals, which i've done for the past few years, but sadly can't afford to go this year. It's all these CD's i've been buying......lol.
Back in the '80's, I saw Pink Floyd, Delicate Sound of Thunder tour. I was like 10 or 11 years old. My cousin snuck me in and it was absolutely life changingly amazing.
