thanks for any help.
The difference is that pc has two letters, and mac has three...
Also that mac has 1 vowel while pc none.
<_< that helps

the guy posted this in Hardwareworld and I gave him pretty much the same answer and as he needs a quick decent answer so I suggested posting somewhere a little busier like here, now he's gonna flame me. :P :D :D
If you don't want compatibility nightmares go for a PC. If you wish to ever upgrade, then go for a PC. If you want to own the worst thing on the Earth, go for a Mac.
i just need to compare them to make an essay, i have used mac one time and didn't like that's why i have pc, i don't know what to say about mac <_<
What a balanced and well-considered evaluation :rolleyes:Quote:

I have a couple macs lying around here somewhere, they're superb for art and music stuff. That's all I use them for but they do the job. Pc's on the other hand are a lot more universal hence I use it for more general purposes such as this.

I already did in a PM!
Here is a transcript:
<!--QuoteBegin-My PM
To be honest, I have no real experience with Macs so I can't tell you much.
Here's what I can tell you:
PCs work on a CISC architecture while Macs run on a RISC architecture.
PCs are by far better for gaming and general-purpose use.
Macs are good for graphic design, I think
MacOS is much better designed than Windows.
Why don't you post on this?
You could put one thread in Softwareworld asking for comparisons between Mac software and PC software.
You could have another thread in Hardwareworld asking about the differences in hardware.[/quote]
thanks, i think that i have something to begin, thanks to all. :D
Mac's are brilliant for art, design (i did 4 years of graphic design, i should know!)
PC's are good for...um...eh...downloading songs and watching dvds...and um.....but they're not as friendly....WHY HAVE I NOT GOT A BLOODY IMAC YET?!?!?

well, 'Lamsey', if that is your real name <_< , try taking your PC with you on a journey. ;)
so are you comparing a pc to an ibook? there is things called laptops, ive got one in frotn of me, and it sure is pretty easy to move around. :)
Q: What do you get if you fry your IMac's screen?
A: A paperweight
The difference is 2 years which APPLE is always ahead..
Aesthetically, MACS are cooll..
But, PCs are like beasts of burden..hard and strong and take any shit...
the only thing i liked the macs for was, that our school had zommbinis installed on them, so just used to play that. :)
Pc wins, trust me..
