i though she was ellipsing at one point !
Look at the shadow, instead of the figure. Imagine the swinging leg moving either in front of or behind the straight one. It's quite straightforward to get the dancer to change direction. Once you've done it a couple of times and trained yourself it's easy.
My "natural" is clockwise unless I make the effort of spinning it in the opposite direction.
Clockwise for me as well. I really have to concentrate to see her spinning the other way.
I see her spinning clockwise also, I can't get her to spin the other direction
wtf I c her going forward, maybe I should lay of the stick icky
just kidding, actually i c her naturally spinning counter clockwise, isn't that interesting?
I'm telling you like, focusing on the shadow and looking at the body in your peripheral vision is the trick to swapping directions.
No im getting  lol
I see her swinging clockwise. For just a second I can get her to spin counter-clockwise but only if I use my peripheral vision.
That's cool! Thanks
It is a fifty fifty chance of changing direction when you return your gaze to the figure.
It all has to do with your brain not registering what you see when your eyes are moving from one fixed position to another. In layman terms you are 'blind' when your eyes are moving. It is called Saccadic movement of the eyes. If this did not happen then you would see things blurred as you looked from one direction to the other.:)
Nah, it always goes clockwise for me unless I put in the effort and turn it the other way.
Clockwise, no surprises 'cause I'm left-handed.
And I change directions when I stare at the spinning leg on its axis. Took a few tries but now I can do it every time.
anti-clockwise - could not get her to change direction - stopped trying when nausea set in.
Anti-clockwise for me as well
Worrying... does this mean I am doomed to become an accountant?
thats funny i make her turn in any way i want left or wright
hehehehehehee
wtf does that mean
