BItmetv forums - just plain wrong !

haha where do i start . yesterday i got an invite to bitmetv and i decided to check the forums . to be honest i have never seen rude staffs like this before in any tracker . the content is great .. hmm they have some old torrents very well seeded , apart from that all the tv shows can be found in torrentleech
i had even plans to donate to this tracker but after seeing mr tequila in action i am never gona donate nor gona use their site

and a note to bitmetv admins (if they happen to read this ) : i feel many people have felt the same way i do about the forums , is that hard to change that crappy attitude and make the users feel more comfortable around the tracker and forums ? who knows , if you change tequila from the staff more people might actually donate to the tracker for the love of the community

Well, I don't think they have any trouble meeting costs (any beyond) through donation ;)

Apart from that, I feel the same on the forums sometimes. I tend to only browse them for informative purposes. But it does come down to it being their site and their forums, which means I follow the rules, step lightly, and seed seed seed.

But you are not alone in your feelings.

I must agree this time. BitMeTV forums are as bad as good is the tracker... and as tracker it´s the very best in his kind.

it is a known issue that you have to be a real jerk to become staff there.

they have no intention to be nicer to users as your account there is always on probation and can be disabled any time by the mood of the staff.

It was the best of sites.It was the worst of sites.

And like the book it tends to end with a lot of beheadings.

Not all the mods are bad at BitMeTV its just a handful of them who abuse their power.

Jst dont try to change others. They are as they are, u cant do anything about it. The only thing u can question urself is.. Do I want to enter BitmeTV... The answer will prob. be yes : )

well i had a problem with the mods attitude i raised the issue here and also raised the issue with an admin. got an appology. wayyyy hayy but i still thik there are tooooooooo many mods in that site. you wont see a lot of users posting there.

thanks for the information. i will make sure i will never ever post in the forums! i don't want some stupid mod banning me for some silly reason.

but i should say that i feel that some admins/mods are not complete morons. some people seems to be nice and helpful. but anyways one or two of the idiots ruin the reputation for all of em.

At least the tracker policies got better when c4 left. Much less arbitrary banning of clients.

There's not much of a community anymore anyway, the irc channel is dead, and the forums are filled with noobs who don't yet know that posting is hazardous to their account.

Tvtorrents has always done the job for me...

thats is because they sell gb for $ , i dont think they donate because they love the tracker :pinch:

this will only change when the members there realise that the content they want is available in every easy to seed 0 day trackers and they dont have to struggle seeding like they do in bitmetv (yes i have read in the forums, lot of people complaining about how hard is it to seed in bitmetv ) .

i hope they will delete my account due to inactivity because am downloading that old series i wanted from piratebay (which was the only reason i joined bitmetv) . its slow but hey i dont need to worry about getting banned and i dont have to deal with that lame attitude of the staff !

You have to understand BMTV Just like Oink took a risk and decided to just focus on a dedicated category and because of it excelled at it and laid the foundation for other sites to follow and improve upon it.

Yes you can join other sites that have tv rips but will the focus on quality and clarity of labeling be the same if it is then you have bmtv to thank.

bmtv staff know that and thats why they band that easily to make people donate just to keeo their ass in the site

No all i am saying, there are freaking too bad trackers with good content which doesnt have benefit me in any way since i wont be able to watch them all... Bad tracker with a good community in which decisions especially the ones that concern users are taken as a collective decisions are way better than the good trackers with awful narrow-minded people...However, dont take my words as if i am saying f.... them all, all i am saying, there are trackers who doesnt deserve to be put into level 5 or smt just because of content... There are also great tracker to which one can commit himself or herself...

I believe i use the elenchus when necessary, Also the fate he had seems to be similar to one i have right now, being judged by the majority because they are the majority...Whether it is comparison or not depends on how you interpret, i dont think i am in the level with him but, i luv discussions as much as he did, rather than being socrates, i would call myself a student of plato or aristotle for that matter. Damn what i wouldnt give to be on that era damn...Also he has fought his way against narrow minded people... so pretty much the same i guess... but still everyone is unique
