hmmm i just tried both and they seem ok for me, have you changed any settings recently or patched from windows update? maybe its your security settings, have you tried reseting ya ie settings to default? or could be your av stopping possible malicious scripts? I presume it lets you download from other pages?
I have all windows updates ,the firewall i use is Norton and the downloads works on another sites.
I think it's the 5 or 15 popups being rejected and the runtime errors from that site messing you up sharedholder.
Keep visiting sites like that and you have to reinstall something.
Oh, this is hardware world by the way. ;) Moving you to software >>>
do you have a popup blocker? and do you use dap or something like that??
My firewall blocks all pop-ups Norton and yes i use FlashGet.
have you tried holding ctrl while hitting the link??Quote:

Both sites worked for me also.
You may want to try going to PCPitStop.com and run through the BrowserTune section.
It takes forever, but is very thorough.
It tries to open an url to a zip file in a pop-up.
Perhaps a MS patch prevents this, because it doesn't work for me either.
Yes ,solution?Quote:

Since it is a popup, your browser or firewall may be blocking it. therefore, disable anyfirewalls, or popup blockers and try it again.
Having a second browser will come in handy. IE works alright but it setting could be altered by many things like plug-ins or spywares etc.
Reset IE default dont work most of the time-Thanks to Mr.Gate and his Team.
Firebird works fine for me. If any one interserted, get it here: http://texturizer.net/firebird/download.html
That second link only opens a duplicate page for me now. I think the site has problems.
anyone having this problem has to allow the referrer in their firewall options. thats what is causing the problems on softnews.
works for me :D
