Poor kid, it's sad that he only had the internet to turn to. All he probably needed was someone to smile at him.
It makes me mad to think of all those lurkers who could have rung the police early enough to make a difference, but didn't because they wanted to witness someone taking their own life.
Or did they think he didn't have the bottle to do it.
Horrible
I do not like that this is being inaccurately tied to "a file sharing site". It's sad that the guy had no other group of peers, but file-sharing does not deserve to take a black eye on this, either.Quote:

Well, someone must have known where he lived, because it states...
"Police performed CPR until the ambulance arrived, but his life could not be saved. We can only regret that people who knew that he planned to kill himself did not act to save his life."
...so, either his immediate neighbours realised something was wrong, or someone on-line knew his whereabouts, otherwise the police would have stated that they arrived to find a dead body. No one in their right mind performs CPR on a cold corpse.
wonder how many viewers where there? or there was ever a hint that family members could pick up on. Sad but makes you wonder did he truly want to die?
Seems he just wanted help and didn't know where or who to turn too
@TheFoX - When he posted the IP to his FTP,only then could people call 112 (911), think it took about 15min from the first call for the police to arrive,
@Brilman - He had posted stuff on his Facebook days/weeks behore and hinted that....
@ninja666...
15 minutes for the Police to arrive? They'd be better off calling a Pizza Palour, or a Kebeb shop. I get my kebabs delivered in half the time. Or maybe the cops stopped off for doughnuts first.
not being rude but. here is a link to the footage. Poor kid h**p://poststuff4.entensity.net/101510/flash.php?media=suicide.flv
With all the crazy shit that gets posted on the Internet, it's pretty easy to see why nobody took him seriously until it was too late. If someone posted on here that they were going to kill themself would you take it seriously? I wouldn't.
many (and its sad to say) people suicide every day , why this one is so special? because of the internet ?
Yea it sad....and disturbing....I watched that video....very heavy
that's sad
poor kid, he's still young
whoever wants to watch this and has already seen it (zeroslave) needs there head testing. imagine if it was one of your family. would you still want to watch it!! you sick TWAT:angry:
Do any of you people suffer from the conditions that this kid had? Do you know what he was going through? Yes, he was only 21 and probably could have undergone counseling and it might have taken years, if not decades, for him to be able to cope. So he chose the alternative, and I for one will defend his right to do so because I can partially relate. For the police rep to say "we can only regret that no one...acted to save his life" is completely so politically correct that it is sickening. Stop making judgments on others until you are able to relate and see their life for what it is - their life.
Yes, it is sad and I still will not ever watch this or any of the other horrible acts that have been posted (i.e. beheadings). Don't blame the internet or any other "things" for this.
