With the reputation that movies based on games have I don't have my hopes up at all for this one.

Damn...I didn't know Halo 4 was debuted at this years E3. Very cool. Good to see Master Chief will be back. Although I hope the devs that are taking over the series will do it justice.
The first Resident Evil? Silent Hill wasn't awful, Max Payne was at least fun to watch. Doom was pretty trashy, but again fun to watch. Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia! They all tend to fit a theme: fun to watch as they are to play. Were you expecting The Godfather?Quote:

On the other hand The Godfather might in fact be the best video game based on a movie.
I totally forgot about Silent Hill. To me that was the best movie based on a video game. But then again I'm a bit biased since the SH series is one of my favorites. Eventhough, the movie definitely wasn't terrible, like pretty much all the other game-to-movies that I've seen.Quote:
