Just saw Oleg come and go. Thought for sure he'd want to get Phyllis Sophycal. :idunno:

So, no byte then?
Re: Self-aware internet...
I take it you're back on the Morphine.

Mainly just in a sleep-deprived, tired yet silly state.
I was forced to fall off the wagon 2 weeks ago while moving full-sized wood shop equipment from their location in the basement to our newly enclosed, and mostly finished garage/shop on the ground-level. I had a 1-month prescription waiting for me at the pharmacy (kind of a "ace in the hole") for serious pain, or serious project. 1 month supply of morphine consumed in 1/2 the time is nice. I've just finished the 4-days of withdrawal, and am doing "fine"*.
*Relatively. At least no memberships online, or IRL, were deleted this go around. :P

Whatever.
You don't come across as much of a knob when you're off it. I can spot the difference.
Don't take on silly jobs when you're a fat paraplegic. That'll be 250 merkin squids. Spastic.

Ya know that is almost worth the $250! How often do you get a compliment out of the Irish grinch (even a backhanded one), I'd say that was money well spent and have it framed I would.
Re: Self-aware internet...
You are right, Art. I'm guessing that's probably the nicest thing he's said to anyone in a while. :O
Re: Self-aware internet...
Now of course, after pointing out that there is a gooey center to that hairy, wildeyed, wopped Gaelic outer, he is going to have to go out of his way to prove me wrong.

Oh, you and I both know he's just as soft and cuddly as, well..
Well...
Ummmmm....
Aaaaaahhhhhh.....
Piece of bubblegum chewed by an alcoholic on a whiskey bender, spit out on an unswept floor in an old barbershop (red-hair and dust bunny speckles stuck to it, if applicable*).
*Oh, wouldn't it be a treat to learn Chalice is actually ginger... :O
Re: Self-aware internet...
I'm actually rather mousey. I was born bright blonde, but because most of my mates had dark hair, I actively willed myself into a light brown, slightly unmanageable affair.
I started going grey at about 15 and now (at 37) have a discernible yet distinguished widow's peak with an ever widening penalty spot on the crown. This concerned me until I stopped looking in mirrors.
Apart from that, or maybe because of it, I'm otherwise pretty fucking beautiful to look at.

Given that no 3rd party claims seem to be have been made, there is an inherent contradiction present. I'm not inclined to believe you ever owned a mirror.
