It should help.
Do you have your mobo manual?? There should be pics and instructions in there if you have it

Same picture as johnboy27 but clearer.
In case you are wonfering, the coloured wire for the LEDs is +5v, the white wire is ground.
For the speaker, the red wire is +5v and the black wire is ground. This doesn't matter if it is an actual speaker, but it probably will matter if it is a tiny piezo-electric buzzer.
haha I sent him this same pic last night...he still couldnt figure it out haha..hopefully hes got it now tho.Quote:

how can i reset or do anything if it wont boot-up post dynastics or ne thing?
to reset the cmos there is a jumper on the board which you will have 3 pins and the jumper covers two of them, lets say 1 and 2 are covered, to reset the cmos cover pins 2 and 3 instead.Quote:

you will find how to reset cmos in the motherboard manual.
Doesn't anyone read the users manuals anymore?
http://www.tcommate.com.tw/en/support_en/e-manual.htm
Download the manual for your board and look at:
2.1.2 Clearing the CMOS (Yellow Jumper Caps)
JRTC : CMOS Function Selection
1-2 : Clear data
2-3 : Normal Operation (Default Setting)
How to Clear the CMOS Setting:
Turn off the power.
Remove ATX power cable from power connector.
Remove Yellow Jumper Cap from JRTC (2-3) and put on JRTC (1-2)to remove the CMOS setting.
Remove Yellow Jumper Cap from JRTC (1-2) and put on JRTC (2-3).
Connect ATX power cable back to power connector.
Turn on the power.
While the system reboots, press <DEL> key to set the BIOS setup.
I reset the CMOS jumper and turn on power but still nothing loaded onto the monitor. Can ne one help?
Does anything happen when you try it? Any lights, fans, sounds?
Is this a new board or one that has already been working?
Is the power supply plugged in? What power supply is it?
Is the power supply connected to the motherboard?
Are the front panel swiches connected properly?
Do you have a CPU installed? Which one?
Do you have RAM installed? What type?
Is the graphics card inserted correctly and compatible? Which card is it?
Is the monitor connected properly to the card and to the wall plug and turned on?
Do you have anything else added to the system?
etc etc...
As you can see, you need to provide us a lot more information before we can know what the situation is.
All lights and fans run correctly on and in the case
it is a new board K7TA-H
supply is plugged in to mobo, 400watts
yes
yes i hooked up the usb 2.0 but couldnt find a place for a auio cable
yes, amd duron 1.4ghz
yes, 2 X 128mb sdram
yes, radeon 7000
yes
floppy, cdrw drive, cd rom drive, floppy, 120 gb harddrive
try unplugging all of the drives from the computer and see if it then posts. if you have onboard video try using that.Quote:

just tried it but still doesn't post, what now?
Does the speaker beep?
Does it have onboard video?
So the only things you have connected now are Power supply, Motherboard, CPU, RAM and Graphics card with nothing else?
Is the graphics card AGP or PCI and is it compatible?
no speakers pluged up
no on-board vid
a controller card , and network card, everything else to
it is a AGP
I was talking about the very small PC speaker inside the case.Quote:

Unplug everything except Power supply, Motherboard, CPU, RAM and Graphics card and try again.
jus tried still not a thing
Do you have the small PC speaker in the case connected?
If not then connect one and then listen beep codes.
You could even try without the RAM installed and you should get a beep code for 'no RAM installed'.
i did both of those and still heard no beeps sry
find the pc speaker wire and plug it into the motherboard, if you cant find one in your case try one from your old case or some other case if youve got any.Quote:

it has a audio wire with 10 prongs but no where to plug it
Did you try it without the RAM?
Recheck everything left carefully.
Try another Clear CMOS.
Then it comes down to a defective...
1. Motherboard
2. Graphics card
3. Power supply
or
4. CPU
In that order.
Do you have other parts you can interchange for testing?
no its not that one it should be 4 wires and its usually next to the headers on teh motehrboard with the power switch, reset switch, leds etc.Quote:

i am jus guessing i think, the mobo, power supply, cpu are all new and gfx card is from my old comp cause i upgraded to ge-force 5200 256mb.
I would put the CPU as the last thing.
Do you have other parts to interchange?
sry i dont have ne parts except a pent II
Did you sucessfully connect the small PC speaker to it?
i connected to speakers to the back of the mobo
 NOT THOSE SPEAKERS! teh little pc speaker inside the computer.Quote:

try looking in the manual for something about changing between PCI and AGP graphics mode.
No! That's not what I'm talking about.Quote:

I mean on the inside the case like this:
http://www.cluefree.com/images/technical/pcspeaker.jpg
It doesnt have a speaker like that i came with a extra fan instead i think
On your motherboard there is a jumper marked JF
The pins 2 and 3 should be connected while 1 and 2 should not.
Check that!
I got a feeling your cpu is stuffed.
