fbi anti-piracy warning

i got a new cd and it came with "unathorized copying is punishible under federal law" :no: what is this world coming to :no: will there be now new cds that will not let u copy, this is an outrage :no:

Eh, just Alcohol 120% it. :1eye:

all cds have that. Even my Windows 95 dics has a "dont copy" label on it. It doesnt mean that its not copyable though

Kinda of funny, most of the CD's I have, have it in the indicta on the back cover.......

I think he is talking about this new, "FBI ANTI-PIRACY WARNING FBI ANTI-PIRACY WARNING: Unauthorized copying is punishable under federal law"
Or is it the thing that The Beastie Boys did, where their CD has a virus, that blocks your media player from copying music(I think) on it and if you copy it then you coppy the virus? Either way they need to back off. Or i'll be like that old guy, "Give me Downloads or give me death!" Mayb not that far, but I 'll be anry :angry:

my cds have always had warnings

They always had them on the cds.

They are just more visable now. On the back on one of my HIM cd's it has a FBI Anti-Piracy Warning seal with "Unauthorized copying is punishable under federal law" on the side of it in a pretty big font. It also says the same thing all the way around the outside of the actual cd in a pretty big font.

but look at a real old cd it wont have them on

im guessing here but maybe depending which country yr in ,they have different warnings on the cd ..........fbi is america but not here in the uk

Meh, can you really blame them? Personally I don't care as long as it doesn't have a block on it.
