    These threads always make me smile as I never pay for anything but when a OP asks for a "free program " I always respond with a free one thinking the poster has no access to a file sharing program , or chooses a free program . But AVG ? give me a fucking break .

    Why? I have used it for a while and I use it with my new Vista notebook. I have never had a problem with it and I have never paid a dime for it. It works well and doesn't affect my computers performance one bit.

    Well, if you want it free (and legit) I would say AVG too. I heard it has the same database as Kaspersky (And norton? or was it Nod32? lol)
