Well, I don't think we need to force things here.

I totally agree with the idea that we don't need a seedbox to keep a good ratio at Bitme, since I don't know a thing about seedboxes and my account there is quite fine (yep, I had to upload my own things to avoid a ban in the first months though It's difficult to maintain a good ratio at Bitme with a slow connection when you don't know what you're doing ).

Still, what I understand with notyviv' words is that he expects to have a completely different experience with an account at the tracker today.

If you knew (you should've know that before you joined) that bitme is hard to seed...

The first time you got inside a tracker to download a torrent, did you really know at least what a ratio of 1.0 was?

Thanx 7th for your advice, i went to bitme staff on irc, explained them the whole situation and i got my account back. Now with the seedbox i've got a good ratio on bitme as well so once again thanx for your proper advice even though you criticised too but your criticism was pretty much right unlike some others in this thread who looked like they take pleasure in accusing others for fun.

According to your posts it's ok/logical/can't-find-the-right-word to have a bad ratio if you don't use a seedbox.

If you knew (you should've know that before you joined) that bitme is hard to seed and your upload speed is way too little (I bet I've even slower and don't have any issues keeping positive ratio anywhere, though I'm not a member at bitme) then why you joined bitme in the first place.

What's the point of renting a seedbox and spend money only to get some stuff (huge buffers are useless) for free? It would be more logical to buy directly what you want and get other stuff from other trackers where you can keep a positive ratio.

If i knew that bitme is hard to seed then i wouldn't have joined, got it. My upload speed is not that low but its hard to compete against seedboxes there but now i've got good ratio there so no worries.

I should clarify, I have been studying a number of them for quite a while. Greek and Hungarian among them. In my thread, slight doubt has been cast about whether I'm actually studying any languages at all. I can understand this and I can prove to the OP that I have, in fact, been studying both Hungarian and Greek (online) for a while. (among other languages) I just ask that my personal info be kept confidential for obvious reasons.

I'd be using both of the sites for language improvement via music and maybe a couple of tv shows/movies here and there but definitely a lot of music. I only request to be a part of trackers that are functional to me. I'm sure you will check my history here and you'll notice that I've only attempted to gain access to trackers that are related to self-improvement and/or exercise. Nothing that has been centered on movies, watching tv, playing video games or "escape activities" like that. The only exception was when I requested an invite for Bemani.ws but that was because I thought that they had torrent files for PIU NXA or any PIU games. After visiting their IRC channel, the staff there clarified that they do not have any PIU games since the site is Bemani NOT Andamiro. I don't use Bemani games to keep in shape like I do with Andamiro's PIU so I cancelled my request for Bemaniso.ws accordingly. Now, not that there is anything wrong with those entertainment trackers but my focus is centered around lifelong learning and that's how I utilize all the sites that I'm a part of. I can PM you if you wish.

I figured I'd give this a shot, even though my post count is so low. I've never been on a music tracker before, and I've heard such great things about waffles.

My external drive crashed recently, and I lost about 250 GB's of music. I've been looking all over the place to try to re-download these albums, but everything is so spread out and unavailable on public trackers. =/

So, I'd like to request a Waffles invite. I feel like it would be my best bet in terms of regaining my music collection and for new leaks.
