It used to be 98% but these days it's generally agreed it's more like 95%.
Regardless, it's a moot point. Even going by 2% difference, that is dramatically more than 0.095%. I am willing to accept Darth of Intelligence may have more in common with a baboon than with me, however I would suggest he is an anomaly and by no means indicative of the whole human race.

You realize that:
1) 0.095% is the number I referenced with regards to variation with the Homo Sapiens Sapiens species, right?
2) The Orangutan thing was a joke, right?
To be honest you don't seem like an idiot. You just seem like you're taking what I say too seriously, or are purely misconstruing what I say based on us disagreeing with what we find humorous/acceptable to say. Either way, get over it, suck it up etc. and understand that you read into my post the wrong way.
Pleased to meet ya'. And if you are a scientist, may the lord Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, have mercy on the souls of your coworkers.

Ellipses go here.

Listen fucknugget, let me put this in terms I can only hope you'll try to understand.
You said:
'Technically I have nearly as much in common with an orangutan as I do with my Asian neighbor'
Assuming you are correct and human beings differ from each other by 0.095%, and our closest primate relative (which incidentally is the Bonobo not the Orangutan but I'll be generous and use those figures), differs from us by approx 5%, you clearly do not have 'nearly as much in common with the Orangutan as your Asian neighbour'. Not unless you consider 0.095% to be a bit similar to 5%, and in the scientific world where we deal with actual figures and data, we don't.
