It makes sense, have you never used the turn of phrase, "what with", before? However, the shortening of mongoloid that you U.K. (assumed) minions partake in feels quite awkward. It's too close to mang, so it doesn't carry the same connotation to my ears. Why does mongoloid own that abbreviated form anyway? Why not mongrel or Mongolian. Too much room for error, I'm not sure what you all are calling each other anymore.
