I have a question for you and the other bottom feeders who whistle on through on your way to the trade section in bt-land. Do you just read the thread title and then respond to that ? I mean is reading the content of the thread simply beyond your grasp, or do you just have the attention span of a speedfreak ?
Oh and by the way, that was rude of mjmacky to wish misfortune on your parents, I personally hope you have an unfortunate yachting accident.

@Artemis - I seriously doubt that any new member who makes 4 posts in under 10 minutes can possibly have read all 100+ existing posts in those discussion threads.

But as long as FST's trade section has a minimum-post requirement, we can continue to expect even more crap posts cluttering up the forum.

Why is it rude? It's not like he'll ever come back to read it. I doubt he could even understand what I said even if it passed by his eyes by chance.

Here's the latest Tom Cruise/Scientology cult scandal. It seems that he got a cook in the cult fired from her job -- and ex-communicated for life -- by complaining about his food.

The entire group of Scientologists is completely facked up. However, the people being abused put themselves in that position. Personally, I have never been abused by a Scientology "leader". For that matter, gangland violence has no effect on me either. Same reason.

As for this "high-level" cook who served bad shrimp (who the fuck can't determine if a shrimp has gone bad? ) she should not have been making "gourmet meals" in the first place. Tell me when anyone gets food poisoning at a Thomas Keller establishment. Obviously she wasn't qualified to be cooking (or intentionally gave bad food to Cruise).

Number of people who get sick when food is handled properly/discarded when bad : 0.

Who wouldn't want to poison Cruise, he's rightfully paranoid. I'd be severly paranoid if I was that much of a twat.

My speech on the subject was rhetorical, I fully realised I was talking to myself, and the joke about mjmacky being rude was part of the rhetoric. I fully realise postcount is the only reason, I just sometimes need to vent at the pointlessness of it all...... my own version of a brainfart I suppose.

Fair enough. I never did anything unsanitary to anyone's food, but I did take "liberties" from time to time...

One example: A group of college kids were partying, and decided to be rude (in a manner that stood out) to me while I took their phone order. Unfortunately for them, not only was I the one taking their order, I was also the one making their food, and delivering it.

Things I did to their order:

    1. It was slow, and delivery time could have been around 25 minutes. I told them it would be a full hour. "Sorry."
    2. I made their pizza with MAXIMUM sauce (about 4X what would normally go on a pizza that size).
    3. Minimum toppings- but just enough so they could complain.
    4. I FILLED their drinks to the very top with ice. There was almost no soda in them.
    5. I only scored the pizza instead of cutting it- remember the LARGE quantity of sauce. Now think of everyone at a drunken party "digging in".
    6. I delivered the following order first- it was an additional 20 minutes past the order in question.
    7. Their order sat outside my hotbag the entire time I delivered the other order.
    8. I delivered with a smile.

    Epilog:

The same address ordered the next day. I delivered that one, also. I got a VERY large tip compared to the order. Message received.

Bottom line: DON'T SCREW WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR FOOD. EVER.

I think the whole thing is some publicist's spin and the real reason he got upset because he misinterpreted what she said.
"Would you like some , shrimp?"

Of course maybe it wasn't misinterpretation because that wouldn't explain the "and anything for dessert ,dwarf?"

Most people who work on staff grew up in Scientology families, and most joined staff members joined long before they turned 18; they were indoctrinated all their lives and therefore know little else. Most believed all the lies they were told when they joined staff, but then find themselves trapped when they get wise to the scam. They are well aware that if they ever quit or criticize the cult, they will be tossed out on the street, with no education or employment skills, no job references, no money (they work for less than $1/hr) and all their friends and family will be forbidden to have any contact with them forever. It is virtual slavery.

Why take their word for it? There are many things that can make people sick. Even if everyone sitting at the table got the same sickness at the same time (which was apparently NOT the case here) that still does not necessarily mean food poisoning. Perhaps a handshake could have spread a GI virus from a symptom-less carrier to everyone else in the room, things like this can and do happen.

But for only one person --Tom Cruise-- getting sick from eating the same food as everyone else? I think that's rather unlikely to be food poisoning, which in my opinion was just a wild guess.

Let's keep in mind that the Scientology cult does not believe in modern medicine, or in generally-accepted scientific principles, or even in any kind of critical thinking. Basically, if the leader says something is true, then it is true, end of story. That's their logic in a nutshell. And Scientology's leader is known to have some very flaky ideas regarding just about everything. Like believing his dog is psychic and anyone on staff that his dog barks at has evil intent and must be severely punished. Yes, really!
