    They were a pretty good electronic music tracker, not hard to join either (pretty generous when distributing invites). And they allowed "amateur" uploads, i.e. music from the site's own users.

    I miss my 200 gig Elektronik buffer that I would never have used anyways But in post-what.cd times I can't see any of these niche sites being both secret AND useful. Will be a huge task in itself just to provide unique content.

    Elektronik had a lot of unique releases , especially of elektro and house genre .
