theplace is actually very good for this. I've picked up quite a few things on there which, when intertwining them into previous positive behavior and leaving out of the more negative traits, helped me a lot. I used to have a lot of trouble with self confidence around women which I was interested in. It's hard to let go off, but it minuscule now compared to 5 years ago. I actually got more from reading the forums there than actually downloading torrents.

IMO the most important things to learn are:

Never allow a woman you are interested in to put you in the friends zone unless circumstances surrounding your relationship demand it. It is quite often a life sentence.
Don't hide your true intentions from the get go. That used to be my mistake, because of my shyness around women in general.
Read about and teach yourself body massage techniques, specific pressure points etc. (a bit easier when actually in a relationship). Magic fingers do wonders.
