The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.
You know it's bad when there's a countdown to a game trailer.
Countdown to the game? Yes. Trailer? Hell to da roe.
The most logical setting for GTA IV would be Las Vegas (Sin City).
I though the region of Las Venturas in GTA: San Andreas was a representation of Las Vegas?
I'm looking forward to the trailer as we'll get to see where it's set, I would have thought Carcer City as it it always mentioned in the games or maybe even London or Europe.
England ftw.
Good point. Foot in mouth.
There's always the Washington DC area. There's a second metropolitan area 30 miles north (Baltimore).
That's lots of area to work with. The DC landmarks could be represented as well as Baltimore Harbor and Druid Hill Park (Baltimore Zoo). The Washington Metro area would would be huge since it would encompass parts of Maryland, all of DC, and Northern Virginia. Baltimore actually wouldn't need to be in there.
The only other ones I can see based on popular metro areas would be Chicago and Boston. Texas doesn't really have any popular areas, Florida has been done, and Cali has been done.
I'd be surprised if they went overseas since The Getaway has done London before (but then again so has GTA along with New York, San Francisco, and Miami in the original).
Maybe it's good time to do London since everyone will be clamoring to buy a GTA on a next-gen system. Americans won't identify with it though.

I doubt it. NYC is already represented by Liberty City.
I got excited when i saw this thread. I thought it was a link to the actual trailer. I wonder how big this one's gonna be. I know one thing's for certain. They won't make the same mistake of putting hidden sexual games as they did in San Andreas
