I was wondering why Winamp 3 changes the color of the icon of all my mp3 files? they used to be white, but when i dled winamp 3, they all turned light blue. how do i get it back to normal?

disassociate some of the file types that winamp tries to associate itself with. Anytime you install winamp you should always use the custom install method so you can pick what files you want associated with winamp or else it will try and hog all the file types and change your icons to winamp ones. There should be an option to do that in the options menu of winamp.

use winamp 2.95
winamp 3 will be gone soon and winamp 5 will be around

yea, i dislike 3... the second i tried it i went back to 2.8

yeah, winamo 3 is a big disapointment, winamp 2 is sleek and fast, but winamp 3 looks great. but it aint worth it.

i had 2.8 before, but i like 3 more.

its to slow and resource hogging, dont get me wrong its a great program and very nice looking, but ts far to resource hoggin for my liking

Winamp3 was, in my opinion, just a demo for Nullsoft's Wasabi platform. It did the same thing as the 2.x series, but with, in all honesty, less useful features and higher resource requirements...
