KLR is basically Kazaa Lite K++ with some changes/updates here and there. It is not based on 2.6 like #KLChat. Whichever one you use is just personal preference.

Resurrection is like ver 2.43, but with the updated tools.Originally posted by McBickens@28 December 2003 - 21:05
I apologize for the ignorance, but here goes...
What is Kazaa Lite Ressurection built on (ver. 2.6), with KLE??
Which is better KLChat RC6 or Reurrection?
s Resur. completely void of any spyware, adware, and advertisements?
Thanks
In my opinion, Resurr. is better.
And yes, there is no spyware in it.
Wait a minute: i'm confused...
If this isn't based on the 2.6 version, won't it eventually just phase out, and we won't be able to download anymore? (as per sharman's orders?)
@ruffbuffy
Kazaa Lite Resurrection is NOT based on the 2.6 series...
great work.
proud to be american

Great work! Just one question. KLR 2.4.5 does not create a desktop icon (no big deal). If I go to start>all programs and then send it to the desktop creating an icon -- no problem. But, when I close KLR 2.4.5 there is an additional icon created on the desktop for a DAT file called klextlock. If I delete it, it comes back the next time I open KLR 2.4.5 from the desktop. It does not appear if I open the program from all programs.
Any way to permanently get rid of this DAT file icon other than always opening
KLR 2.4.5 from all programs?

Thanks a lot Darth, great work! I just keep clicking on the X in the corner, which used to minimize Kazaa Lite to the system tray, now it closes it, I know it's horrible nitpicky but any chance of it going back to the minimising?
That's why I didn't put an option to add a desktop icon. That file is generated by KL Extensions and I don't know how to stop it. You'll have to ask Rocko about it.Flaboy Posted on 29 December 2003 - 09:24

This is an option in KL Extensions. It's called "Change how the title bar buttons behave"metalromance Posted on 29 December 2003 - 11:16
