overnet lite doesnt work with win98se

I get an "overnet lite has performed an illegal operation"

but i tried the normal version and downloading win xp @ a whoopin 50kb/s and other uploading @10kb/s pretty good.

well the error i get is

edwatch.exe has generated errors and will be cloased by Windows. you will need to restart the program.

An error log is being created.

this happens eachtime after i start it up (its in the temp folder will this do anything?) i use overnet not edonkey though.

If you can't get Overnet Lite to work on 98/ME just delete the Pro.dll in:
C:\Path\To\Overnet\Plugins

To MvM, edwatch.exe aren't used a bit by overnet.

THere is no pro.dll in that Plugins? O_o

I was using overnet when i got this 'blarul' virus,i cleaned my entire system & then had to reinstall overnet-lite cuz the .exe file was gone.After i installed the lite version the same thing happened.

What can i do?

Today, My Overnet lite & Edonkey lite have been deleted automaticly by Antvirus tool. It says those are infected with "BackDoor.Blarul".
Does anyone have same situation??

Symentec Antivirus Recognizes Overnet.exe as Backdoor.Blarul !

its a false reading that only norton and systematic av does, no other av does this

Options->Threat Catagories/Auto Protect->Exlusions and pick overnet.exe
