    Alot of times you can see more of the map at one time. So in say, halo, you can see that guy sneaking up to the side of you.

    Although im not one to talk I run my halo at the lowest resolution, the 640x 480 one I blieve, I dont really care for the bigger area that much.

    Alot of times you can see more of the map at one time
    Ive never seen a game where higher res gives more view of the map, or is it only in halo ??

    i think that would be only in halo, although i havent seen it yet (and i&#39;ve tried with diff resolutions)....

    all the resolution gives you is a chance for more detailed pixels, better polygons, and the text is smaller lol... at 1600 the text is WAY too smaller
