Maybe their was a god along time ago when the human race was still young and needed some guidance. He has disappeared because he can see that we have doctors that can heal, we have scientists that can find cures for illnesses, we have have boats and planes to get across the sea, etc etc so their is no more need for god anymore.

Maybe he whent off to start a new race and its a big plan to see if we can contact this other race.

one reason why people dont believe in Gods is because they think that their is a timeline or a plot or storyline a beginning and a end , a start and a finish. Human was to believe that if you are created something had to create me. God is so power he created his self hard to believe but true.
