The camera was working because it wasn't on during the EMP. EMPs only disrupt electric currents in use during their presence.

cameras are always on...thats why you have those little flat batterties in them..that saves the clock settings, likewise for a car..thats why all the cars in the movie didn't start except the one they fixed...

There's something about the plot that bothered me a little:
Spoiler: ShowHow come aliens that could travel in space, ie. perty smart beings, just didnt figure out teh ending? Perhaps some simple "shit happens" stuff goes on in alienworlds too but, really?
The version I saw didnt have a very clear ending, stuff was missing,
teh cam from russia.
Maybe somebody can fill the obvious for me.

I found it interesting at the startish but towards the end it was dissapointing Spielberg let me down
The only good part i liked was when TOM cruise his daughter and that dude were in that basement or something and that long alien camera looking for em lol that was good

What did stop them? Bird's? I thought it was some kinda bacteriaat least thats what i had heard. Also when there in that basement with that old guy did anyone else feel that the scene dragged on way to long, the aliens searched for like 10 minutes then went, and then another alien came for another 10 minutes.

Just grabbed a dvdr from pisexy released by Cozmo, it's in the "trash" section cos it ain't a "scene" release but there's nothing wrong with it!
Cozmo has put a brilliant menu on the TC, I highly recommend this download.
