I don&#39;t use style XP, I use the uxtheme.dll patch from LightStar....
anyway, the style is RhodiumX. It comes with green, blue, and orange.

i got the original from MobiusCo (http://www.mobiusco.com/) and inverted the color using photoshop. the original was orange squares on a black background.

press the print screen button on your keyboard. this doesnt actually go to your printer, but copies whatever is on your screen to the clipboard. then just go to a picture program (like photoshop or paint) and paste. then save the image and upload it using either of these image hosting sites:

All very well for counter-strike, which is about 10 quid, affordable, but Half Life 2 will use it so no multiplayer unless you buy it, 40 quid at least

Hey guys
Ive used StyleXP to get my custom theme etc. and it all works a treat. However when I turn off or restart my computer it just forgets to start up with my theme and visual. Ive saved it in Style Xp and it says it should start it up with that one everytime, instead it just starts up in like what appears to be Windows 95 boxs/fonts, however keeps some characteristics of the theme , forexample it still highlights text in deep red colour which is part of the visual.
Any help appreciated so it will remember to start up with that theme.

you could try patching it...what this does is makes windows accept themes other than those from microsoft...search for "Style xp patch"

It also means you dont have to have the program running

I found a patch, its called UxTheme Util from the same people that made Style XP, get it here at the bottom http://www.tgtsoft.com/download.php I havent tried it out though.

when I install a game/program I want the exe on the desktop. I dont want to have to go into explorer, locate the file and execute it, and/or go via programs menu.

Each to their own. I have all of my useful apps reachable with one click with my auto-hiding sidebar, everything else can be accessed within about three clicks. I prefer to have useful system information on my desktop (along with a pretty picture&#33;)

I guess I just couldn&#39;t stand the idea of a cluttered desktop.

Some people have made HTML pages with links to all their software and set that as their desktop background - that&#39;s a not bad idea if you like that kind of thing.

I am running a program called DesktopX. There is hundreds of themes avaliable for it. My current theme is custom made with elements taken from the Windows Longhorn theme (the new version of windows that is in testing right now). Here is the full theme for it, If someone didn&#39;t know better they might even think you were running the beta.
