yeah, kazza is still alive. but then again, so is napster. there are even a couple of losers running BBS servers still - just because people use it, doesn't make it good. bit torrent is by far superior... surpassed only by Usenet (and thats only if you know what your doing) and now I'm 2 cents in the hole

hmm i was using that Kazaa Lite for a while, the one "without" spyware and adware.

Now I'm pretty fed up with the p2p networks, too many bad files/slow downloads. Torrent is the way to go, especially with the private or semiprivate sites, better file quality and less leechers

BT for sure. The quality of the average P2P file is just awful. Half of them are 128kbps MP3s that sound like they've been trasncoded from 64kbps WMAs

..that brings back memories..still what is kewl is that you all have a sense of humour, I was told ...down in the lounge, that you bittorrent dudes were like automated robots and also that you were all afraid to have a chat in the their Lounge...which probably is why I hardly ever venture to this forum, if I see no mod on standbye...
erm just in case you can think WTF's the lounge? It's here https://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/f-lou.../?s=&daysprune=

I never used kaza, but I was at one point addicted to limewire. I couldn't begin to estimate the number of viruses I downloaded with that.
It was kinda fun though because I got to the point when I could spot a virus very fast. I was on an internal network once and convinced a guy to fully share his c drive. I saved like 20 to his computer.

Yes you would Especially if you realised that it was the latest build, that has been "adjusted" for human use, boasting a built in BitTorrent tracker and also a brand new chat channel plug-in; ..and engineered by the original Kazaa-Lite developers; Paul and Random_Nut, ...

Whose Forum, you are a guest on...
