Artemis, try to use an encrypted SSH tunnels together with a smal application like PirateRay , it saves no logs, no limited bandwidth, works fine for me and very cheap.
You can test for free , at least.

Thanks for the suggestion, since I live outside of the continental U.S. I also use a VPN service for other things apart from just bt transactions. There are many services such as NetFlix, Hulu and also the Amazon premium service which require an American IP address. That's fine with the VPN configured properly I can provide a valid IP address for these services as well. OpenVPN is a licensed Server, meaning you have to purchase licenses to use it, but they kindly provide two licenses for 'testing' purposes which gives two clients access to the server without needing to license it, awwwww isn't that nice of them.

Say what? I thought the thing was open source and completely free? I've got it running on my VPS and I can set it up with as many users as I'd like.

Technologies, Inc. owns all of the rights to the OpenVPN core and maintains a dual license for the use of the technology. We support a license under GPLv2 along with a commercial license where appropriate without the restrictions of GPLv2. Please contact our sales at [email protected]), if there is an interest in commercial license.

You are correct I was quoting the Windows commercial licence not the open source linux GPL licence
