Hacker George Hotz, also known as GeoHot, is known for helping crack the iPhone and for releasing the PlayStation 3 root key and custom firmware. Understandably, he is fed up with both Apple's and Sony's stances on jailbreaking (Apple wants to make jailbreaking illegal while Sony is suing GeoHot). According to his website though, he likes Microsoft's approach on homebrew and wants to try Windows Phone 7:

Sony has had their hands full responding to the recent Playstation 3 hacks. Most recently they've been dealing with the early leak of Killzone 3, one of their flagship franchises. This leak has Sony troubled by the "thought of their console becoming a mainstream threat to piracy." In response, Sony has already been hard at work designing a brand new hack proof Slim model PS3.

The hot internet companies of the moment, admittedly there aren't that many of them, are raising money left and right while their valuation rises. Facebook and Groupon have raised huge chunks, Twitter is valued at close to $10 billion so it's no wonder that the other hot startup, Zynga is raising some money of its own, $500 million at an almost $10 billion valuation.
